Tai Chi Chuan

Tai Chi is an exercise for people of all ages and abilities, offering a wide range of physical, mental and emotional benefits.

Although Tai Chi was initially developed as a martial art, it is more commonly used in the west for its health benefits. It is also often referred to as a form of ‘meditation in motion’ as it promotes a sense of inner peace and tranquility.

Qigong is a unique exercise for increasing energy levels and improving your health, assisting the development of muscle tone, good posture, and strengthening the immune system.

Integrating numerous physical postures and special breathing techniques, qigong heals the mind and body.

About Josh 

Josh Drewe began learning Tai Chi and Qigong from his father at the age of 16, and has now been practicing for 20 years.


He has studied Yang, Sun and Wu style hand forms and Yang and Wudang sword​, as well as two person ​tai chi exercises such as P​ushing Hands and Da Lu. 

Josh practices various forms of Qigong, such as Zhan Zhuang and meditation, alongside teaching sets for general health and the various body ​systems (such as Cardiovascular, Digestive, & Respiratory exercises)​. He currently studies under Master Huang Ping.

He has also continued to develop his interest in health and wellbeing, movement, yoga and nutrition.


Josh is registered as an "Advanced" intructor with the Tai Chi Union of Great Britain
